Chasing the Alpha

Chasing the Alpha ran longer than the length I’d initially scheduled with my editor, so we had to reschedule for the 5th of March. She’s going to try to get the manuscript back to me as soon as possible, and I’m hoping to have it up by next week.

The beginning of Chasing the Alpha takes place shortly before the ending of Enslaved, when Sten goes to Siluit. Here’s an unedited excerpt from chapter five. I think it’s a fun place to start. First, the blurb, for those who missed it and have no idea what CtA will be about.… Read the rest »

Shifters of Nunavut Novels

Over the next few weeks, I’ll be culling all of the individual serial parts and leaving up only the bundle formats. The Shifters of Nunavut series is getting some special treatment, as I’ll be taking down the Enslaved by the Alpha serial and reworking it into a novel format. What that means in this case is that I’ll be cutting out nonessential scenes (ex. story recaps, gratuitous sex) and adding in a few new scenes, particularly ones that help to tie the story in with Capturing the Alpha, which will now be Book #1 in the series. In … Read the rest »

CHAPTER ONE

“I’m not in the mood.”

Sevrrn’s hand froze on Madja’s breast. He might have considered ignoring her comment and continuing his ministrations until she gave in, but the look on her face gave him pause. That, and her utter lack of arousal.

No flushed cheeks, no coy smile, not even the barest hint of reciprocity.

It was impossible for anyone to live as long as Sevrrn had without an abundance of patience. And as far as dragons went, Sevrrn was not nearly as impulsive as his sister had been, nor … Read the rest »

Mid-December Update

As a lot of you have probably noticed, I’ve been very absent from social media the past couple weeks. I wish I could say that it’s because I’m writing furiously, but sadly, that’s not the case. I’ve spent the past couple weeks in and out of the hospital, struggling to write so much as a text message.

I’d like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers for my miscarriage a couple months back, and I’m very happy to announce that Mr. Rivard and I are expecting again! Unfortunately I don’t have morning sickness, so much as all-day-can’t-eat-or-drink-anything sickness, which … Read the rest »
