ARCs | Advance Reading Copies

So in the past I’ve tried to do organized ARC lists. Unfortunately, it proved to be far too much for me to handle on my own so I scrapped the official list for a few months and and have been doing a very sloppy, confetti-esque giveaway a few days before launch.

Well, now that I have a full-time assistant, the lovely Ms. Kira Coyne, I can once again do an official ARC list! Kira’s going to be handling 100% of anything ARC related, so if you’d like to receive free copies of my books in exchange for honest reviews, here’s the scoop:

ARC Overview

*Currently, the ARCs will be only for Running With Alphas, which is going to have monthly releases between now and spring of 2015. Each novella will be around 30,000 words, or 100-125 pages.

*ARCs will go out a few days days prior to publication. ARC readers will be expected to be able to post their review to Amazon (.com or within 24 hours of publication. This is very important, because the point of having ARCs is having plenty of reviews for prospective readers at launch.

*ARCs will be offered in mobi (Kindle), ePub (iDevice optimized), ePub (Nook optimized), and PDF format. Also very important, if you request a mobi file and plan on reading it on your Kindle, you have to know how to side-load the files.

*Reviews are your honest opinion. You won’t be removed from the list for writing an unfavorable review.

Joining the ARC Team

The ARC is list is currently open to everyone who’s read and reviewed Running With Alphas: Trust. If you haven’t read/reviewed it, Kira is still offering ARCs of Trust. Email her at email hidden; JavaScript is required*** with either a copy of your Amazon review for Trust or a request for an ARC of Trust. Once you email her your review for Trust, she’ll add you to the list for Book#2, Honesty, which you’ll be receiving on September 6th. It’ll be the same for every book. Read, review, email review to Kira, get added to the next list.

Again, Kira is not going to remove you from the list for writing an unfavorable review. The reason you’ll have to email the review is that we want to be giving free copies to people that are going to take the time to review and there’s no other way to efficiently cross-reference this.

Another point I should make is that Kira is not forwarding me your reviews or telling me who’s saying what about the books. The point of having her do this is so that I don’t have to handle any of this stuff. I’ve got books to write, conferences to attend, piles and piles of emails to respond to, social media–really I could go on and on, but what it all boils down to is that I’m a very busy woman!

***Make sure you’ve thoroughly read the ARC Overview section before requesting to receive ARCs.

whether reading the bound to the alpha series, claimed by the alphas series, mated to the alphas or the new series…running with the alphas i have been totally engrossed with the stories to the point of rereading them off and on! with around a dozen other authors i am currently trying to keep up with viola rivard is one of the best werewold/lycan authors i am currently following. i wish i would have know about her considerably earlier in her career so that i could have tried talking her into doing more with the characters in the bound series. i hate to see any of the series end…

she is a wonderful author and i look forward to her “soap opera” style of stories. i watched soaps for over 50 years. love the format! let’s hope viola can keep it going!

I really do enjoy your writing. I do so much ready for work, boring. It is such a breath of fresh air when I can escape into your words. Thank you for all of the great stories.
